The Philippines is a predominantly Christian nation. Roman Catholics make up 80% of the population while Protestants are 9%. The country struggles with many problems: poverty, unequal distribution of wealth, high unemployment rate, high inflation, and natural disasters. Nine of our missionaries from Dunamis traveled to the Philippines and led evangelism assemblies in Angeles City, Dasmarinas City and Sittio Wawalino in Logos. The attendees included many young adults and students. After hearing the word of God and the message of salvation through Jesus Christ, a great number of them came forward and accepted Jesus as their Lord and Savior. Our missionaries staid in contact with the local leaders, continuing their mentorship.
