Mission › Malaysia
Islam is the national religion of Malaysia. Malaysians are forbidden from leaving Islam, and as a result, only about 9% of the population are Christian. The people suffer from poverty, racial and economic imbalance, and other human rights issues. Ten of our missionaries from Dunamis visited Kuala Lumpur and led worship services in three local churches. Working together with their pastors, we prayed with the congregation, preached the word of God, and participated in spiritual healing. They witnessed the power of the Holy Spirit at work and many came to accept Jesus. Because they face hardships in this country due to its low tolerance for non-Muslim religions, the people in Malaysia need your prayers and support.
