The entire message of Christianity can be summed up in the following verse: “For God so loved the world that He gave his one and only Son, that whosoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life” (John 3:16).
God desires everyone to be saved. Through the suffering and death of His son, God has made it possible for all who repent and accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior to enter into a relationship with Him. After his resurrection, Jesus proclaimed the great commission to his disciples: “Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age” (Matthew 28: 19-20).
